Dodge Charger vs. Dodge Challenger

Between the Dodge Charger vs. Dodge Challenger, you’ll find two of the most impressive muscle cars that money can buy. But, which option is the right one for you? At the base configuration, the Dodge Challenger specs offer more power with a 305-hp V6 engine – surpassing the Dodge Charger specs with its 292 hp by just under 10 horsepower. But if you are really raring to go, you can upgrade to the astounding 707-hp SRT Hellcat trims on either model to experience the 6.2L HEMI® SRT Hellcat V8 Engine in person. The Challenger also comes in a SRT Hellcat Widebody model for an even smoother ride.

While the two models offer similar adrenaline-pumping performance, they differ slightly in appearance. The Dodge Charger is a more traditional four-door sedan, while the Dodge Charger is a two-door vehicle. The Challenger has a little more space up front, but the two share a 5-person seating capacity. Do you want the more practical design of the Charger or the sportier flair of the Challenger? Take a test drive at DuPage CDJR of Glendale Heights, near St. Charles and Naperville, and find out for yourself! Feel free to contact us at any time with your questions, and we’ll be happy to help!
